Silk crepe de chine (silk CDC fabric ) is a double-sided crinkled silk fabric made by twisting the weft threads to create a subtle textured surface. The texture is not very noticeable visually, giving the fabric a matte finish without a distinct front or back side. It is soft, has a high luster, and a delicate feel.
Width Options: 114 cm and 140 cm
Weight Options: 10 momme to 40 momme
Silk crepe de chine is mainly used for shirts, dresses, and scarves, as well as various embroidered garments. It is generally not recommended for sleepwear and bedding due to its crinkled texture on both sides, which is not smooth enough.

Construction Details:
The plain weave construction creates a raw fabric that, after refining and degumming, displays a beautiful fine wrinkle pattern due to the interplay of the S and Z twisted weft threads with the untwisted warp threads, resulting in a unique twisted texture on the fabric surface.
